Fixing Bugs Adds No Value

Ok, are you all worked up yet? So what I should have said was that fixing bugs adds no value that shouldn’t have been there to start.

Setting aside the endless debate about perfect software, it’s important to state the obvious. If time is being spent fixing bugs, that’s time not spent on delivering new capabilities to the user.

Does that mean you shouldn’t fix bugs? No, just that it can become a slippery slope to accept that software inherently has bugs.
